Ultimaker 2+ & Extended+ 3D Printer Universal 1kg Spool Holder

We were getting a little frustrated with InkSmith and other standard 1kg spools not fitting quite right onto the stock spool holder which comes with the Ultimaker 2+ & Extended+ 3D printers. We also noticed there were not any simple and easy to print designs out there for replacements. We came up with this design which is a remix of this design by humberto & this design by Undevijur. The spool holder can print in one piece in less than 3 hours.

Here are the settings we recommend using:

PLA

50% infill

0.6mm nozzle

Supports on (with max angle of 45 degrees)

0.25mm layer height
